Visiting Speaker Hongjie Li, PhD. April 25th 4PM
Join us in the Auditorium of the CTRE of Loyola University Chicago at 4pm on April 25th 2024.
Followed by a food and drinks reception in the Lobby of the CTRE.
Dr. Li and his lab at Baylor University investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms that contribute to brain aging, including glia neuron interactions, peripheral inflammatory signals and gut-brain interactions. They will apply state of the art technologies, including single-cell sequencing, single bacterium genomics, cell surface proteomics to study glia-neuron interactions and inter-organ communications to understand the brain aging.
